Afterschool Recreational Care
We know after school can be hectic, and the Foster City Parks & Recreation Department is excited to help! We primarily serve working families who desire a fun, safe, structured environment where children can learn and grow. Afterschool Recreational Care (ARC) is offered to all 1st-5th graders at Audubon, Brewer Island, and Foster City Elementary Schools. The program consists of various components including homework assistance, recreation activities, STEAM projects, arts & crafts, indoor/outdoor games, and much more! ARC is supervised by the department's recreation leaders who have completed a comprehensive training, certified in First Aid and CPR, and have a genuine enthusiasm working with and being a role model for children.

Program Highlights Include:
  • Program starts immediately after school M-F until 6:00pm
  • Transportation with a Recreation Staff member from Audubon, Brewer Island, & Foster City Elementary Schools to The Vibe Teen Center.
